Congratulations to John Hearle, of the Old Vicarage, Mellor! John has been awarded an MBE for his services to Archaeology in Mellor, Stockport, Greater Manchester. John founded the Mellor Archaeological Trust, better know to some of us as "The Mellor Dig", with his wife Ann. To read more about the work of the Trust visit their site: www.mellorheritage.org.uk
