I know it's outside of Marple (just).... I knew it was being done up but I didn't appreciate it was for sale (unfinished - sign of the times?). I saw it at the back of "The Beacon" magazine that came through the door via the Edward Mellor ad ("driveway is over 600 yards") ; on the web ("1,015 yards")!!!

I think it's good that it has been renovated. I last visited the place when it was a ruin and we went exploring during an extended lunch break at Marple Hall School circa 1976!! We have all scoffed at the price of 17 Windows, but it's hard to know if £1.6 million is good value (it needs a roll-over win!).
