Come on then - has anyone been ??

La Romantica has been revamped - in fairness they seem to have give it a good lick of paint and put some new furniture in. Quite refreshing under the current climate.

I was assuming from Daniel's post that La Romantica has been rebranded "Lounge 59". The La Romantica signs from the front are gone, although the big one on the gable end hasn't yet.

Thats right - it seems to have been rebranded - all new furniture in there,etc. Don't know what the most important thing is like though - THE FOOD !!??? (plus service)

Well I was told it was going to be an indian restraunt  :-\  and when eating in the Basmati, I told the owner there ...  eeeek!

It looks Like Lounge59 has closed down ,there are no menu's in the windows and they have not open for a couple of weeks now. :-\

Sad but not surprising - apart from anything else, what a silly name!   ::)
