On recent visits to Brabyns Park to walk dogs or play on the swings (grandchildren- not me ! ) I have been puzzled by the large number of parked cars and lack of people.
The only conclusion I can think of is that rail commutors are parking in Brabyns car park. Which means that users of the park are sometimes unable to park in the park.
Perhaps the council should make this a pay & display car park, but with a 2 hour free period for valid park users.
