This weeks cause was the Retired Greyhounds Trust and they are now £86.50 better off. Same cause next week. The H&L was won once again (Grrrrr) So £100 gone from the kitty means next week we will be playing for around £50 again.

£97 raised for the Guides' Car Park last night and the H&L remained secure with 3 feeble attempts, so the jackpot should be back to £100 next week for their second quiz.

A very busy quiz for the Guides last night ensured that they walked away with another £117 for their new car park. Over the 2 weeks, with extra donations, that makes a total of £226. The H&L wasn't won so the jackpot is back to £100 again. Next weeks cause is Pendlebury Childrens Hospital.

£89.50 was raised for the Wellspring Trust last night, and still no luck for anyone on the Higher and Lower Game. Same cause next week.

£114.50 was raised for the RNIB on Wednesday night, given them a total of £197 over the fortnight. Higher and Lower contestants were beating by the cards again - it's a good job the dolly dealer had no sleeves!
The next two quiz nights will raise money for the Princess Royal's Trust for Carers but the big question is will she be fielding a team?

A belated update on last week's quiz is that £97.50 was raised for the Princess Royal's Trust for Carers. Let's hope that a similar amount can be achieved at the second quiz for this cause tomorrow night.

With another £100.50 raised last night the Princess Royal's Trust for Carers is now £198 better off over the two weeks.
Next week's quiz is for the Friends of Marple Memorial Park, who are now trying to raise funds towards new equipment for the infants play area in the park.

£114 was raised for the fight against Hodgkin's Lymphoma last night and it's the same cause next week. Rumour has it that a quiz will be help to raise funds to buy the RAF hearing aids after a blow-back from the new speakers on Wednesday!

All Saints After School Club were the beneficiaries of this weeks quiz going home £115 richer. We have a run of one offs over the next 3 weeks starting next week with a special quiz for the Marple Food & Drink Festival.
Oh, Yes, the H&L wasn't won.
