£118 was raised for the Marple Scouts' Jamboree last night and Peter managed to hang on to the Higher and Lower Prize for at least one week to try and built a reserve.

The first quiz of the New Year will be the second for the Scouts, so see you in 2007!

Another £144.50 for Not Forgotten last night, and the Higher and Lower Game kitty was cleared out again!

Next week the quiz is on as usual and it's the Marple Scouts Jamboree Centenary Trip that will benefit.

Not Forgotten are £94.50 better off after last night's quiz and Peter managed to hang on to his Higher and Lower kitty so the pot is building towards that jackpot again.

Same time, same cause next week.

This week's quiz raised £94 for Homestart and the depleated H&L coffers have begun to recover a little. Next week's quiz is in aid of the Not Forgotten Association

A touch quieter this week but we still managed to raise a further £93 for the David Lewis Centre. Another £30 went on the H&L game, I wish they'd give us a break!
Next weeks quiz is in aid of Homestart.

A nice, busy 25 teamer for the second Poppy Appeal quiz last night raising a further £113.50. Add this to last week's £85.50 and we made £199 (we made it up to £200 for tidiness sake).
Thankfully for the kitty, nobody won the H&L so we are back to £100 next week when the charity will be the David Lewis Centre for Epilepsy.

Around £85 was raised towards the Poppy Appeal last night and the Higher and Lower Jackpot £100 was won again. The kitty is a little low now and will need time to rebuild!

Next week it's the Poppy Appeal again - get yours in the Co-Op from Saturday 4th, when the stall will be manned by volunteers pretty much throughout the week.

Due to loosing my glass slipper again I can't advise the amount of money raised for the National Fire Service Benevolent Fund, or the outcome of the Higher and Lower Game, but it was certainly another busy night and a good quiz.

The Benevolent Fund will be the benificiary for the second week next Wednesday night.

That's what you get when Cinderella has to leave before the end of the ball!!

The H & L went unclaimed, the next 2 quizzes are in aid of Mellor & Marple Bridge Cubs and the webmasters overstrength team were still not strong enough to overcome the quizmasters penalty system! Ha Ha!! '<img'>
