Jim Heald Memorial Bench

AT LAST!!!!

The bench which was purchased by public subscription in memory of Jim Heald's 45 years commitment to the Memorial Park has been fitted today. You can find it alongside the path between the library and Jim's old cottage.

We are now in the process of having a plaque made and organising a date with Jim's family for an official dedication of the bench.

Thank you once again to all of you who gave towards the cost. Thanks also to the park staff who assisted particulary Playground Maintenance who fitted this incredibly sturdy piece of equipment.
