Since Ive moved back to Marple Ive wondered...

I lived on Bowden lane when I was a kid and remember Seven Stiles as fields and a short cut I sort of remember a great big den in the woods at the back BUT dont remember the pond thats there now!
I live at the back of SS now and always wonder about the lay of the land and whether years ago there was a stream there between Clifton Drive and Seven Stiles  I dont remember one myself but maybe B4 Clifton was built?

its just theres a gully on the raliway at the end of SS and clifton just looks like there should be one and it all lines up with where the pond is now

does anyone know?
