Any idea what STP stands for in the " May suit an alternative use (STP)" bit. To me, it means Standard Temperature and Pressure and Wikipedia tells me it can mean Sticky Toffee Pudding", but neither seems to fit!

The freehold was on the market the other year for over a million pounds.  They have a big car park.  Wouldn't surprise me if someone is eyeing it up for development  :(

I notice the email talks about not being able to extend their lease, so it seems it's not entirely down to the COVID issue.

That's right, they say on their FB Page:

"Peruga will not be opening on the 20th May as planned due to not being able to re-negotiate a new tenancy on the building.
We would like to thanks all the staff who have worked at Peruga and all the loyal customers who have visited over the many years that we have been there. Hopefully we can find a new venue soon!
The Peruga Team!"
