Many thanks to all the shops, businesses and donors in the Marple, Bredbury and Romiley area who have recently helped us to raise £459.64 for the charity through our regular tin collection.
March will also see the start of the national Great Daffodil Appeal. The small daffodil badges will be in shops and businesses shortly and we hope that local residents will purchase one and wear it to show support for our cause. The money raised will be used to give support and care to a person suffering with a terminal illness.
We will also be hosting a number of collections at the Marple Garden Centre and Morrison supermarket, in Bredbury, in February and March. If you would like to help please visit

Our next group meeting will be at the Navigation Pub, Marple, on 8th February at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Our AGM ill be in March (details to follow).
