Glad to here that the staff are helpful and efficient and that an accident was averted.

We were in the park on Saturday night and it was nice to see a group of girls enjoying themselves on the playground - but such a pity one of them had to get the felt pen out on the rocking horse and do the infamous "woz 'ere" listing.

... and yes we did say something.

No matter how hard i try, i will never forget when i was about 6/7 yrs old and i some how got the chains of a swing tangled around my neck in Marple Park.  My dad was chatting to another parent whilst i was choking.

Had he not turned around a few seconds later i dread to think what would have happened.

Sorry to turn your thread into a glum one but...

NEVER LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED AT A PARK.

went to the park today with my daughter and her friend, while there one of the swings broke. (it was the one that you pull the kids on) one of the bolts had came out of it. a little girl found the bolt and gave it to one of the men there who in turn phoned someone up while taping the swing up so no-one could use it and stayed with it. in 15mins two other men turned up and fixed it. this very good and quick well done to all concerned.
