This may be of interest. From 24 April the 375 is going to get two extra journeys in the evening, and a two-hourly Sunday/public holiday service, both operated at two-hourly intervals. The new journeys will run Hawk Green to Stockport, so won't serve Mellor.
The new journeys will be run by Stagecoach, with the existing daytime service remaining with Little Gem.

https://tfgm.com/public-transport/bus/routes/375-stockportBesides not serving Mellor, one notable thing is there are some long gaps between the Little Gem services finishing for the day and the new Stagecoach ones starting, which seems less than ideal. On a weekday the last Little Gem service leaves Hawk Green for Stockport at 1646, with the next Stagecoach one being three hours later at 1957. On a Saturday the gap is even longer with the last Little Gem for Stockport being at 1551. This is because the last two of services from Mellor terminate at Marple rather than Stockport. Hopefully if the new services are a success then the gaps will be resolved in the future.
