Opening of new Marple Toll House Welcome Station [23 September 2017]

Arthur has sent a photo from the opening of the new Welcome Station:



He also took a couple of the subsidence developing at Lock 15, which looks a bit of a worry:

CRT will be opening the new "Marple Welcome Station" at the Toll House, Top Lock, on Saturday 23rd September between 10am and 2pm.

Everybody is invited to join them for a cuppa and a cake and to have a look around the newly renovated Toll House.

The Toll House will be a welcome station and mini information centre, manned by local volunteers with local knowledge.
