Illustrated talk by Brenda King, Chair of The Textiles Society, at St Martin's Church.

Brenda is an expert on Victorian textiles and particularly interested in the work of John Sedding, the principal architect involved in the design of St Martin's Church following the death of his elder brother Edmund Sedding who had received the original commission from Mrs Ann Hudson.

The talk, on Friday 13th October, will be entitled "Stitch and Stone-Architects and Embroidery in the Gothic Revival Era" and promises to be a very interesting evening. Tickets will be £5 to include refreshments and further details will be posted here shortly.
