I love old pictures of the local area. I can honestly say, that if there was such a thing as a time machine, I wouldn't go back to see major historical events, I'd wander around Marple.

It must be Howard, even a long way from complete it looks like the mill.

As fasr as I can work out, that's looking down Upper Hibbert Lane and it seems Goyt Mill is under construction. Am I right?

Thanks for the pictures @oldcodger The one of Hawk Green is quite interesting. As fasr as I can work out, that's looking down Upper Hibbert Lane and it seems Goyt Mill is under construction. Am I right?
