The vets in Marple were great. They took the dog in and I have now been informed the dog has been reunited with her owners. Thanks for your help.

If no one claims it Tameside Animal Shelter in Hyde may be worth a call, after the required period of waiting for it to be claimed they keep it at the shelter however long it takes unlike standard dog pounds. They can also check for a micro chip as can vets etc. Dogs Trust in Denton is another good option but it depends on how full they already are.

Lost dog found on marple- Buxworth canal. Mix breed no collar.
