Advice from Brian Sharples & Sons for Tony's funeral:

The family are treating the funeral on Friday as a celebration of Tony's life and a chance to get together with some of Tony's other friends who they may not necessarily have known to share stories of his exploits. As such the dress code will be informal so please do not feel obliged to wear black as the family won't be. There will be a gathering afterwards at Tony's local (The Marple Tavern, Cross Lane), to which everyone who knew Tony are all more than welcome.

Funeral Director Brian Sharples & Sons has advised that Tony Fowler aged 49, from Marple,  unexpectedly passed away on holiday in Wales.  This kind gentleman was well know in Marple and all of Manchester.  He was known by a lot of people but due to his personality he didn't tell his family who his friends were and how many there are.  Tony's  hobbies and interests were buses, trains, planes and visiting Manchester airport. He also spent a lot of time in the museum of transport for Greater Manchester.  Please can this be shared and reposted all round Greater Manchester.  Can we all make sure that Tony has the send off he deserves and all his friends that currently are unknown are at the funeral to celebrate his life.

The funeral is to be held at Stockport Crematorium, The Rowan Chapel, on Friday 9th September 2016 at 12.15pm.
