All clear tonight. Understand travellers all moved on during the day.

Quick update

c 920 ish all the crowds and a lot of cars dispersed, Mill entrance still barricaded by vans & cars with original 4 ish traveller vehicles inside on the upper car park. Some other smaller caravans parked up by the road, couldn't see some of the bigger ones that were there before but they may be round the corner or have moved on elsewhere.

A large party of travellers have attempted to settle on the Goyt Mill car parks. After c4 of their vehicles have gone in the entrance has been blocked by either gym users and/ or the landlords/ business owners. I understand as of 10 minutes ago the police have been called but there are cars/ vans all over the road outside so probably worth avoiding at present as hsose manning the blockade seem to be settling in for a long stay
