Personally, I think he was right, but surely the point is that nobody who voted for him (I didn't) could have been in any doubt he would vote that way if the situation arose.

The point was for information ... and relevant information too, as it could affect many people's lives. For right or wrong, it commits us to an extension of war and he is elected to represent the views of the Hazel Grove constituency; i.e. us.

He voted that way honestly and openly ... but I wish he hadn't.
