Here's the detail according to SMBC:

16th September – 18th September Lower Fold, Marple Bridge

Contractors working on behalf of United Utilities are undertaking immediate works to repair a leaking main on Lower Fold, Marple Bridge, between the junctions with Compstall Road and Hogarth Road.  These works require the use of temporary two way signals until Friday 18th September 2015.
 
 Roadworks now clear on lower fold /

 The large water burst on lower fold not repaired yet now five weeks since i and others reported this must be thousands of gallons a day going
   down the grids /what grids are not blocked .

Started today now a three day job .acording to smbc roadworks website .
