Fantastic job on all the benches, well done.

Thank you @Snowball ! We've been getting some great comments from people passing by while we've been doing the work too.

We were extra-earlybirds this morning and completed reassembly of the Munday family sponsored bench and first stage reassembly of the Carver Theatre sponsored bench too. So that just leaves final treatment and plaque for the Munday one and four more slats to sand for the Carver, then final reassembly, treatment and plaque. We also have the Ardek Ltd bench to give a final treatment and plaque too.  Unfortunately the Carver slats are too wet to sand this morning as planned but hopefully won't take too long to dry now they are undercover. The end is in sight!

And the SVC Lighting and Electrical sponsored bench on Market Street has also had it's plaque fitted today and is now fully completed too.

The plaque was fitted to the Wetton family sponsored bench on Derby Way today and it is now fully completed.

A productive day on Town Centre Benches as we push hard to finished while the sun shines!

Ardek Ltd bench reassembly completed, final treatment next:


Munday family sponsored bench 1st stage reassembly completed:




Carver Theatre sponsored bench 1st strip down and painting complete:



SVC Lighting & Electrical bench given final treatment and now awaits fitting of plaque:


Wetton family bench given final treatment and now awaits fitting of plaque too:


The Carrver Theatre bench is the last one we're going to do this year as we do not yet have a sponsor for the one near Neal's Greengrocers.

More good progress on Town Centre Benches yesterday as we push hard to complete before winter sets in:

Reassembly finished on SVC Lighting and Electrical sponsored bench, final treatment and plaque outstanding:


Second stage strip-down and rebuild on Ardek Ltd sponsored bench:




Started on Munday family sponsored bench on Derby Way:



We have one more signed up to do sponsored by The Carver Theatre, leaving one bench on Market Street that has no sponsor at the moment.
