On last Wednesday 29th April, we and our boat, Happy Days, were making our slow passage down through the Marple locks. At lock 12 we had a temporary engine problem and when we started to make way once more, we found we had been adopted by an angel on his bicycle.
This angel gave us endless help through the remaining locks and helped speed our progress no end.
Sadly, we were remiss in not asking the name of our kind helper, but we would very much like to thank him once more for helping us and making our day so much the brighter.
