Arthur's visit to see Santa at the Dragon Miniature Railway

Local photographer Arthur Procter and his sister Kathryn paid a visit to the Dragon Miniature Railway last Saturday to see Santa and got this year's Christmas Album off to an early start:

Santa arrives at the Dragon Miniature Railway on Saturday 23 November at 11am

He's then there every weekend from 11am until 4.30pm.

Also Monday 23rd from 11am to 4.30pm and Tuesday 24th (Christmas Eve) from 11am until 3pm.

Train rides to meet Santa in his grotto and receive a present cost £6 per child, each accompanying adult train ride £2 only.

Schools and parties can arrange private opening times during weekdays.

Dragon Miniature Railway and Romiley and Marple Lions are supporting local charities through these events.

Please note that Santa isn't at the Garden Centre this year:
The Lions will only be organising the Santa Dash and working with the DMR in 2019. They WILL NOT be involved with the Garden Centre Restaurant's Breakfasts and Teas as in previous years. However, they will be hosting Breakfast with Santa sessions during December at Hewitt's Café in Romiley (0161 430 7589). Initially, bookings will be taken for Sundays the 15th. and 22nd. (10am to 11.30am) but if the venture proves popular bookings may also be taken for Sundays the 1st and 8th.
