Depends which aspects of the document you are hoping to use. It was uploaded in November 2002, so is over 12 years out of date.

You can get more recent population and other data here:

Marple North:  http://www.mystockport.org.uk/AreaSummary.aspx?rc=343797&r=368715

Marple South: http://www.mystockport.org.uk/AreaSummary.aspx?rc=343797&r=368716

If it's the strategy and priorities type of info that you need then these are likely to have changed significantly. I would suggest contacting Democratic Services, who provide the secretariat services to Marple Area Committee. As an aside, although I already have the contact details I tried to find them on the council web site and it was very difficult. Anyway, here they are. Do let us know how you get on please:

Marple Area Dimension Document - Updated Version?

While doing some searching for a socio-economic profile of Marple, I found the following, which dates from the early 2000s; http://www.marple-uk.com/pics/strategy.pdf

It gives some excellent fine detail on Marple (in the context of Stockport), but I am concerned by how out of date it is, as I intend to use it to support a funding application for a community project.

Does anyone know who provides the secretariat to the Marple Area Committee? I have emailed the Chair Cllr Dowling to ask if something more current exists, but no reply.
