Is anyone able to settle an argument which is threatening to turn into a wholesale row?

Was there ever a huge stuffed bear standing on its hind legs in the Wrights Arms at Offerton (Corner of Bean Leach Road - opp the filling station). Sometime in the 1980s, I think.
