id use it... (and a deli)
hobbycraft is far too expensive especially when most of my "craft" activities involves kids of various ages and often ends up in a bin
though IF I ever get time Id use it for myself too

'<img'> Thank you for all your replys to my craft shop in Marple poll, I still need more vote's to get a better idea if it is viable or not.

Deniseamb as for your answer (not sure we need one in Marple). I know Stockport has one but I think Marple could have one also, and I think most Marple crafters would also like one here, also Hobby Craft is expensive and I might be able to have better priced crafts as I will have lower overheads, also I live in Marple, but thank you for your reply it is of value to read the negatives & not sure's as it gives a better view.

Thank you all for your reply's so far.

Getting back to the subject of the poll! - I'm another whose wife will be very interested in this and she also has several friends who are into making their own cards, cross-stitch, glass painting and all that kind of stuff. Well she had to find something to do while I spend all my spare time 'playing' (her words) with this web site

Not sure about the craft shop idea as the big hobby store in Stockport is easy to get to.  However the deli is a great idea.  I hve no idea where the nearest decent deli is to Marple.

Snap Howard. I still find it amazing the amount of time my wife can spend in the wool shop on Marple High Street. Is there a door to Narnia at the back of the shop.

I am also reliably informed that Marple needs a decent 'posh' deli. Anyone else think that would be a good idea?

Yes and no. "Yes" because my wife would love it and "no" because it'll cost me a fortune.
