After a final count-up on Friday I can confirm that £380 was raised for Marple Skatepark Project's Community Funding, with an identical amount being shared between Tik Toc and the Stuart Fraser-Thomson Foundation.

Thank you and well done to Recon Cycle Repairs, The Marple Tavern and Woodstock Pizza - especially Jason, Simeone and Guy, for your great efforts!

The Family Fun Charity Bike Ride was blessed by good weather and a great turnout of local people on their bikes supporting some excellent causes in Marple Skatepark Development Project, TIK-TOC and the Stuart Fraser-Thompson Foundation. Thank you to every who came along. Also to The Marple Tavern, Woodstock Pizza, Recon Cycles, Blank Cheque and everyone who helped to organise the event. Thank you to Stockport Homes who joined in at short notice to provide a free balloon artist, face painting and giveaway goodies. Thanks also to Moss Bank Homes for sponsoring the event. We'll have a count-up later in the week and let you know how much was raised. In the meantime, here are some photos of the day taken by Arthur Procter :

We've had a fantastic prize for younger family members donated by knitting expert Kathryn Procter that we will use to raise funds at the Family Bike Ride event on Sunday 24 August.

Thank you very much to Kathryn, who can create all kinds of knitted soft toys: http://www.tassie-krafts.co.uk/index_files/Page1207.htm

Can we head to the Marple Tavern for crepes without doing the bike ride ;D

If you can live with the guilt of not earning your crepes you will be most welcome!
