Harry Goddard

Does anybody in Marple know anything about Harry Goddard,
He was my G Granddad and died in 1957, He had 2 daughters Elaine & Marleen and He lived across from All Saints Church in one of them big old houses now gone. He had a business called Buckingham & Goddard, Melba Motors, and Melba Airways, He also built quite a few houses in Marple some on Boden Lane, some on Cross Lane & the council houses on Greenbank Crescent that I know about, the ones on Greenbank Crescent was built with the help of the German Prisoners in 1948/49 he also was at one time Director of Stalybridge F.C.  he also had a fleet of Trucks any info would be great.
