Me and my little lad are v.excited about the park, we've walked over a handful of times recently and were disapopinted to find it still closed for the works being carried out.....

But, from peering over the fence, it looks great so far and just what the park needed!

We'll be watching out for the leaflet as we definately dont wanna miss the opening party!!

Hi Captain Marvel

Sorry for the late response. Only one month late!

Glad you are a regular user of the park. As you'll see from the current work being undertaken, the new play equipment is currently being installed.

We were planning to have a World Cup final opening party this Sunday but due to grass being seeded and a new fence to be erected, this will now be rescheduled for late on in the summer.

Once we have a date we'll post on here plus leaflet drop around the local streets and put up posters in Marple.

Look forward to meeting you then.

Cheers

Rob

I think you must be talking about Cromwell Avenue Park? If so, they are in the process of having new equipment installed. I think there are hopes for a World Cup party launch but you can find out more via Friends of Cromwell Avenue Park: https://twitter.com/FOCAPMarple

Does anybody know why the park has gone?

I went to take my Daughter yesterday and the park is no longer there.

Its a shame,my Daughter is Autistic and she enjoyed that park because it was a lot less Quiet than other parks,
