We were in Hyde the other day and noticed that they have an office there, on the road that goes past the council offices and the outdoor market. Maybe they could be contacted there.
Their web site seems to be blank: http://www.topclasstravel.co.uk/

I have been contacted by Debbie Wignall of Marple Travel in Hyde today who has pointed out that her business, Marple Travel Hyde Ltd, is nothing to do with Top Class Travel of Marple, who have recently gone out of business. It was my mistake to link the two and I'm pleased to set the record straight and apologise for causing any confusion. Here's some of the detail provided by Debbie:

Dear Mark,

Could you please advise the people on this forum, that we are, and always have been, the ONLY Marple Travel.

Top Class Travel, used to call themselves Marple Travel, but in fact, were not allowed to do so !!!!

We are an established company of 30 years and are on Market Street, Hyde.  Our company name is: Marple Travel Hyde Ltd.

Thanks.

There is a typed notice on their door saying that they ceased trading yesterday and that anyone with a holiday booked should contact ABTA.

There was a news item concerning them in last week's Evening News - they were the subject of a "winding up petition" over an alledged debt to Jet2.com. Article here.

Not that I am one to gossip over people's misfortune, but I have it on good authority that they have ceased trading.

Is that shop Marple Travel as the one that was on Market Street Marple?

I believe that they are (were?) ABTA registered so there should be some protection:
