For those of you interested in local archaeology and what is going on at the Mellor Mill down at Roman Lakes, the Mellor Archaeological Trust web site now has a new feature called Bob's Diary.

This is a diary that is regularly updated by Bob Humphrey-Taylor, the chap who is leading the excavations at the Mill. It can be read from the latest post first (which is the default view) but entries can also be switched to chronological order so you can read from the start, which is especially useful if it's your first visit to the site.

A new Mellor Archaeological Trust web site was officially launched last Sunday: www.matrust.org.uk

I'm pleased to have been asked to help the trust with this new site, which will be easy for their members to maintain and update themselves. Lots of new information should be added to the site in the coming weeks and months.
