He has reported a tree on the pavement opposite Torkington Primary School to the Council that has caused the pavement to become broken, cracked and uneven. Oliver also highlighted that the position of the tree in relation to the properties adjacent to it created a serious road safety hazard, restricting vision for drivers pulling out onto Torkington Road.
Oliver said, “The pavement is so badly damaged that it becomes a health hazard for the mothers, young children and elderly who use this stretch of pavement every day. More to the point, its positioning presents us with issues regarding poor visibility for motorists. I have asked Stockport Council to remove this tree from its current position and resurface the pavement"
Where do you suggest the tree is repositioned after it's removal?In what way is it a Health hazard?
