demolished building

I am trying to find info on a cottage that was at the back of the conservative club in marple, it used to belong too Harry Goddard who had Melba motors, when he died his widow and daughters sold this to the con club so they could make a car park. can anyone tell me more about this well cottage as it was very old.
Any info or photo's would be great.
