Home Fires and Fuels web site is now live and ready for their launch Open Day on Saturday 1st October. Join them for cheese and nibbles between 11 am and 3 pm, meet the staff and browse the wood and multi-fuel burning stoves. www.homefiresandfuels.co.uk

I used these guys last year.

Seemed to do the job, about 20% needed cutting to fit into my burner.

Log stores in Charlesworth is the only local one I'm aware of - however having had two deliveries from them, I've found the wood ideally needs further seasoning before burning.

There is a brand new business starting up at 112 Stockport Road - Homefires & Fuels, due to launch 1st October but they may be able to help you before that. Contact 0161 426 0444 / 07805 542569 and ask for Dave Qualter. The reason I know about this is that I am doing a web site for them and they will be advertising on the Marple Website when they launch.

Can anyone recommend a supplier (who delivers) for seasoned wood for a log burner?  Many thanks
