Alison, it was in the news the other week, basically people running a business in a public place making a profit with almost zero overheads.
can you please tell us what was reported in the press .

why does people training in a park cause a problem, not criticising just confused.

You see it all the time in Australia, and I often see people like BMF in Bramhall Park and Heaton Park, it doesn't seem to get in the way of other people enjoying the facilities. I would have thought it might actually make it a bit safer in the early evenings, and its always quite nice to think 'thank goodness its not me doing that!'

You will need permission. Local Parks Manager Adrian Ellis can give permission up to a certain level (which I think includes what you are planning) and can advise you how to proceed if "higher authority" is necessary.

I will PM you Adrian's contact details and I will mention it to him when I see him tomorrow.

I'm hoping to organise the "big zoom" for Oxfam where about 30 children will use tricycles and push toys to walk around Marple park on a weekday in June. Does anyone know if I need permission and if so how I go about getting it!
