Roughly in the middle of what is now the newest section of Hibbert Lane, between Church Lane and Stockport Road I think. The attached aerial view from the 70s and present day map help to figure it out.

Was that a small factory of some sort (name began with G, I think) in the 1950s/early 60s? I can't remember a cinema there in my time (we lived on Market Street then). My best friend lived on Ellesmere Ave and the factory was across the top of the avenue.
