Vote for Marple Memorial Park on the Green Flag web site

As most of you will know, Marple Memorial Park has won the coveted Green Flag Award for the last six years in a row, the latest being awarded earlier this year for 2009/10.

The Green Flag Award scheme now has a new web site where people can vote for their favourite park. Some of them have got quite a head start on us but it would be great to see if we can catch up and get on that front page list!

The interesting thing is this...I was told Marple holds the Green title permanently and now I read this.
