Does anyone know how I could contact Thomas J Brereton ?
He painted a portrait of my grandad over 50 years ago when he was just a student. I would like to ask him something. Thanks

The Society of Marple Artists' have provided the following report on their 2003 exhibition, held recently:
SOCIETY OF MARPLE ARTISTS 2003 EXHIBITION
"THE PUBLIC'S CHOICE"

The public being asked to vote for their favourite painting proved to be very popular and the outcome was extremely interesting.
In total 431 votes were cast, with 144 different paintings from a total of 400 being voted for as a favourite.
The two most popular paintings, Silver Birch by Rosemary Powell and Summer Fruits by Thomas J Brereton, are shown below :-

The Society of Marple Artists would like to thank all those who attended the exhibition, which once again proved to be a great success.

The Society have been invited to join the Marple Website Community pages and we await their decision.
