The best thing to do, whether you use Windows, Apple or other flavours of Operating System, is to use Firefox. This is a free browser supported by a worldwide community. It has the ability for extensions such as ad-blockers. I NEVER see adverts when browsing. Do yourself a favour and don't use IE. Download Firefox from:

The fix for this is now available on the windows update site. no KB960714 if you have your settings on automatic update it will update itself if you want to do it yourself just go to the windows update site.

Urgent

Microsoft recognise that there is a major flaw with Internet Explorer 5 to 8.  They suggest using Firefox or Opera, or I guess Safari but I suspect they don't want to advertise that. You don't need to uninstall Internet Explorer, the advise is not to use it until a permanent fix has been provided.
