Witness appeal following Stockport collision
Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Stockport.
Shortly after 10.35pm on Tuesday 14 October 2008, a Nissan Primera was travelling along Tiviot Way from the roundabout at Lancashire Hill towards Portwood when it collided head on with a Ford Ka travelling in the opposite direction.
The 32-year-old driver of the Nissan and the 21-year-old driver of the Ford suffered minor leg injuries.
A 71-year-old man, who was a front seat passenger in the Ka, was taken to hospital for treatment to a fractured hip and multiple fractures of his pelvis.
He remains in a serious but stable condition at Stepping Hill Hospital.
