I think a lot of places are going for the white lights this year - Manchester is. I think they are probably the lower energy led lights. I like coloured lights too, but the white lights can be ever so pretty as well. I am sure Marple will be lovely and festive!

are they going to be turned on at the christmas cracker do does anyone know. is the statue going to be put on the bench ready for that day as well. it would be nice to see it all happen all on the same day.

It is nice to see the christmas light going up, but how come Marple only get plain white lights and other towns (ie Hyde) have got beautiful fun coloured ones.  ???
