NHS Direct have launched a text service to provide contact details of the following local services:

- Pharmacies
- Opticians
- Dentists

Send a text to 61121 from your mobile with the service you require together with your postcode, for example PHARMACY SK6 6BW.
In return you will receive an instant text message with the details of the three nearest services, including a phone number and the distance from your postcode.

Text messages are charged at standard rate; however, some operators fees may vary.
