I don't know the answer to any of your questions. I think you can e mail the person concerned with your questions though.

Very interesting Wolfman. Do you know and if so can you tell me:

What hospitality have the elected representatives received?

Do they use public transport whenever possible to attend meetings, especially those councillors entitled to free public transport?

When using SMC. Dining facilities are they expected to pay,do they claim actual expense incurred or do they receive an allowance irrespective of the amount spent?

TWO part-time executive councillors - husband and wife team Shan and Ben Alexander - were paid allowances amounting to £39,564 (£760 weekly) in the year 2007/2008.

The figures are contained in the latest list of allowances paid out to 63 councillors representing the borough of Stockport.

Coun Mrs Alexander represents Marple South and her husband is ward councillor in Stepping Hill ward.  The pair are listed in Stockport Council’s latest register of members interests as partners in Ben Alexander Consulting, a firm which provides management and consultancy.

Ben Alexander also runs the Northern Association of Management Consultants and is a director of BA Interim Ltd.

Other husband and wife councillors include Stuart and Christine Corris, who were paid £24,220 (£465 weekly).  The couple are listed respectively as finance officer for the Department of Work and Pensions and as an assistant accommodation manager with the NHS.

Coun Les Jones, the leader of Stockport Council’s Conservative group and his wife Jackie were paid a total of £21,118 (£406 weekly).  The pair are listed respectively as a director of Memorials of Cheadle and as an NHS administrator.

Meanwhile, husband and wife team Coun Philip Harding and Coun Sheila Bailey received allowances of £18,412 (£354 weekly). Coun Harding lists no employment and his wife is registered as personal assistant to Reddish MP Andrew Gwynne.
