Last day tomorrow for completing the on-line questionnaire, so if you haven't done it yet and would like to have your say.........

I received a pack today with some of the information I requested, so it works!! Hopefully everyone else who requested stuff will get theirs too.

SMBC will be publishing the results on their web site. I'll put some links in when they're on-line.

Thanks both for your comments:

Belly - please have another go. Several people have used it successfully already, so it should work for you. If it doesn't, please copy and paste the error message into an e-mail and send it to me at mark@marple-uk.com. I can then try and resolve the problem.

Alison - I don't see why you shouldn't complete the form using the location "Other..." and add your postcode. I like to think they'd still value your opinion.

Good idea - I've filled in my form, but when I finished and submitted it I got a strange error type message.

Just me or a glitch in the system?

Keep up the good work

I think that i a brilliant use of the website - and it good that stockport mbc recognise what a useful part of the community this webite has become.

Unfortuntely I can't fill it in as it doesn't quite cover my area - I would love the opportunity to be able to easily express my views regarding what I feel to be the priorities in my area to be. After all in 4 years of living in Manor Ward I have never seen sight nor sound of my local councillors, just had to recycle many many leaflets with pictures of councillors pointing at cracks in pavements and saying they have asked for them to be fixed.

What will be interesting is seeing how the results of this information gathering exercise are used. Maybe SMBC could put a page together on their website with information that this site could link to?

The Website was recently approached by Stockport MBC to see if we would be prepared to publicise a questionnaire about the Stockport Community Strategy, to help establish the public's priorities in Marple.

This seemed to be a pretty good use of the web site so, rather than just link to a word document, we've set up an on-line version of the questionnaire that will be automatically forwarded to SMBC.

We hope our local visitors will take the time to make use of this facility and do their bit to help SMBC understand what local people want.

The questionnaire can be accessed from the home page on the main site, or by clicking here.

Any comments on using the web site in this way would be welcome too, as the forum has been rather quiet of late and hence a little dull '<img'>
