North East Cheshire Mencap is looking for a volunteer minibus driver to pick up and take people who attend the Glengarth Social Club which meets at 62, Station Road, Marple every Tuesday from 7.30.p.m. to 9.30p.m. The club has been operating for over twenty years and is an opportunity for adults with learning disabilities to meet in a social setting and share activities together. The first pickup is from Arkwright Road, Marple and others are in the Romily area. Hours needed would be 6.30p.m. - 7.20p.m. for the pick up and 9.20p.m. - 10.10p.m. for the return journey. We would very much appreciate your help as the cost and availability of public transport are often a bar to people with learning diasbilities being able to attend activities.
