More "cunning running" than straight running but Manchester and District Orienterering Club meet and train locally.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't realise that Woodbank Park was so near to Marple, so i might give that one a go. just need to make sure i can get there in time from working in Manchester, but should be ok having looked at the training times.  Thanks for the offer of an introduction - leave it with me for now and i'll probably get in touch soon.

thanks again.

MTM I run for Stockport Harriers who  train at Woodbank Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
It's a friendly club which caters for every ability from begineer to the more serious athlete.
Quite a few of us have just started our London marathon training.
Feel free to contact me and I will gladly show you around

Does anyone know of any running clubs or groups that get together regularly to train and enter local events?  Am interested in road/fell (maybe)/trail running.
