I went to the bonfire and display at Hawk Green last night and it was fantastic. The firework display lasted for a good 25 minutes with them lighting 4 lots of fireworks at the same time, would have lasted a lot longer if only lit 2 lots. I think half of Marple was there and the other half must of gone to Brabyns. Best of all it was free. There was a couple of rides for the kids and adults had a go on one of them. I won't bother going to Brabyns again, I was able to park my car in the Crown's carpark and could have had a drink if I wanted whilst watching the fireworks. If you have not been to watch the Hawk Green display I can highly recommend it, I thought it was a lot better than Brabyns was last year. '<img'>

Thoght that the Brabyns Bonfire and display was one of the best I've seen there for years.  Well done to the Scouts.  Lots of Stewards too!  (Unlike the Springers)

Anyone got any photos to post?  Seemed to go very well, fireworks were great, huge bonfire, lots of people there, more than last year?
