Just before we loose the thread of this topic completely I just thought I better mention: I've had it on good authority that the shelter at the front of the Railway is a temporary arrangement only whilst a permanent shelter is constructed at the rear of the pub.

Breating, exaust, injourious i..........I

Read it, check it and check it again, or use your school dictionary or the spell check.

However I do agree with you, breathing exhaust fumes is injurious

Listen here Rachael, smoking is a disgusting filthy habit, and why should I have to go through the gauntlet of passive haze and smoke which is injurious to my health.
Then go in the back door. BTW if your heading in there for a beer Ahem (soft drink) my i also suggest that this is also "injurious" to your health, Oh and I forgot to mention the fact all the exaust fumes your breating in as your passing, ahem again (braking) to glare at the monstrosity, aka, shelter so it isn't injourious to everyone who doesn't want it's health.... Shall I go on. Stay indoors if you don't like it!

Mr Mansfield!!

Smoking is a disgusting and dirty habit, I agree, but have you actually asked the landlord if this is a permanent fixture??

You may be surprised!

And why should I have to suffer the site of a "shed" on my travels, put there just to accomodate those who dont have the will to give it it up.

This is the thin edge of the wedge and whilst we are at it, the ban includes bus shelters, so put that in your pipe and smoke it!

You must agree though Rachael that it looks a mess?
I am hoping it is a temporary shelter for the smokers. It looks like some work going on around the back so maybe they are getting a better one soon, out of sight? ( I hope! )  ':p'

There is another topic on this somewhere.

Some people cant win!    You get rid of the smokers inside pubs, put them outside and people still are not happy!!

What on earth has Robinson's Brewery done in erecting that monstrosity at the front of the building?

In my opinion it is a "blot on the landscape" and not in keeping with the structure of the building.

Does such a structure require consent?.

It looks like an old bus shelter! in my opinion.
