Marple Naturalist Programme 2013-2014

Marple Naturalists meet at the United Reformed Church (left side front entrance), Hibbert Lane, Marple SK6 7NN at 8 pm on the first Wednesday of the month. Membership fees are £24.00 per annum or £4.00 per visitor (free for children under 16 years). 

September 4th 2013: Islay - Queen of the Hebrides, Gordon Yates

October 2nd 2013: Flowers of the Canadian Rockies, Jack Swann

November 6th 2013: Butterflies: their Conservation and Encouragement, Malcolm Plant

December 4th 2013: The Coal Mines of New Mills, Derek Brumhead + Christmas Buffet

January 8th 2014: From Moor to Mersey: the Goyt, Neil Charman

February 5th 2014: Serengeti & Mountain Gorillas, Philip Warmby

March 5th 2014: Oldknow’s Goyt Valley Legacy, Friends of our Valley Group

April 2nd 2014: AGM and short talks by members

May 7th 2014: Birdsong: the What and the Why, Neil Charman

June 4th 2014: To be confirmed

July 2nd 2014: Fungi of the Goyt Valley, Fungal Punk Dave

August 6th 2014: Wetlands of the World, Dan Charman
