Edale has a few campsites, both in the village and in the surrounding area.   Never stayed, but people who have say they are OK, but can be noisy when it's busy and everyone comes rolling back from the Nag's Head!    ':O'

Hi

To be very local try Linnet Clough. Whilst it is a scout camp they do let "others" stay there - and you can get home easily if you have forgotten something!

Hayfield and Crowden - both are clean, have shops, great walking, clean loos and hot showers. My kids love them.

Hi,

Looking for local(ish - Peak District would be fine) campsite suggestions for my family (two pre-school children! ) for a weekend or overnight stay.  Any suggestions!

Thanks.
